Anna Catherine "Ann" (Clancy) Haskins was born in 1904 in LaSalle, LaSalle County, Illinois, the daughter of William John Clancy, Sr. (1867-1934) and Martha jane Brennan (1871-1948).
Ann graduated from the LaSalle-Peru High School and St. Mary of the Woods. For 18 months she was an instructor in French at Hall Township High School at Spring Valley, Illinois.
Anna married Dr. William Haskins . They had one child:
Anna passed away at age 29, sadly from suicide related to an illness (see news article in PDF), in 1934 in LaSalle, LaSalle County, Illinois,[2] and was buried in St. Vincent Cemetery there.[3]
