James Preston Clapp was born on March 19, 1888 in Grainger County Tennessee. He was the son of William Alexander "Will" Clapp and Nancy Jane Holland. James married Clara Eva Whilemena Huber in Indiana.[1] He passed away on Nov 14, 1929 in Knoxville Tennessee[2] and was laid to rest in Kitts Cemetery in Grainger County Tennessee.[3]
