Edward Clapp owned land in Milton which at his decease descended to his eldest son, Ezra...Ezra Clapp removed to Milton as early as 1667 and married Abigail Pond of this town. He lived in the Pond house which was next to the house of Rev. Peter Thacher...About 1712 he erected a corn-mill on the Neponset at Mattapan. [2]
Ezra passed away on 23 Jan 1717/8 in Milton, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Ezra's place of burial is unknown, but he does have a memorial with links to family members.[3][4]
