Birth

Sarah/Sally Briggs Clapp was born in July, 1805 at Scituate, Massachusets. [1] She was the 7th child and twin daughter (Lucy Briggs Clapp) of Leonard Clapp and Betsey (Stetson) Clapp. [1]

Born in Scituate, Massachusetts, she moved to Marshfield after getting married. By 1860, the family was back farming in Scituate.

She passed away in August 1882, age 77, of consumption at Scituate, Massachusetts [32]and is buried in Marshfield Massachussetts with her husband George in the Marshfield Hills Cemetery, there [33]
