Biography

Reuben Clark was born about 1735. He was the son of Scotto Clark and Thankful Crosby. His headstone in the Old Burying Ground Cemetery in Brewster Massachusetts is inscribed: "Sacred to the memory of Reuben Clark, who departed this life Dec 23 1814 in the 80th year of age. He lived much beloved, and died much lamented. The righteous have hope in death."
