Thomas Clark was born circa 1657, the son of William Clark and Katherine Bunce of East Haddam, Connecticut.

In about 1682, he married Elizabeth Bailey, daughter of John Bailey and Lydia Backus, and they had the following children, including:

  1. Jonathan Clark 1683–1694
  2. Thomas Clark 1687–
  3. Israel Clark 1690–
  4. Sarah Clark 1695–
  5. Mary Clark 1702–1799, who married Jeremiah Mason
  6. Susannah Clark 1710–1770, who married Stephen Cone

Thomas died circa 1746 in East Haddam, Connecticut.
