Biography

George was born on 10 January 1892 in Woodbury, Texas, the son of John William Clark and Alice Ruth Tennison. Siblings include brothers; Elzie T(b-1882-Arkansas), Lonnie S(b-1884-Missouri), Walter E(b-1886-Missouri), Willie T(b-1894-Texas), Leonard W[Lynwood M](b-1899-Texas) and sisters: Mabell S(b-1889-Texas and Jessie R(b-1896-Texas), all with surname 'Clark'. George may have had a first spouse by the name of Julia Ethel Brazeal . Following his marriage to Jessie Maud Skorkowsky in 1924, they had three daughters; Joan or Jo Ann Clark in 1925, Juanita May Clark in 1928 and Wanda Joy Clark in 1929.
