Biography

Dorothy was born 1953. She is the daughter of John Bond Clark and Isabel Matilda Roberts Clark and their only child. She was born at Emory Hospital in Atlanta and grew up in Decatur, GA. Dorothy is a life-long member of Columbia Presbyterian Church, Decatur.

Father John worked for General Electric Co. in Atlanta for about 40 years. Mother Isabel had worked for G.E., but after Dorothy was born and started school, she worked as a preschool teacher's aide at Columbia Presbyterian Church.

Dorothy lived in Decatur for all her childhood. She went to Toney Elementary School and Columbia High School, both DeKalb County schools, graduating in 1971.

In September 1971, Dorothy began her freshman year at North Georgia College in Dahlonega. After completing a B.S. in physical education in 1975, she returned for two more years and earned a B.S. in music education in 1977. In the summer of 1977, Dorothy headed to Oxford, MS and the University of Mississippi and earned a Master of Music degree in applied piano in 1978.

During the years, Dorothy has held the following positions: organist of Dahlonega Presbyterian Church; staff accompanist in the public schools in Browning, MT and organist of the Blackfeet United Methodist Church there; music director-organist of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Atlanta; accompanist for the Decatur Civic Chorus, the Mercer-Atlanta Community Singers, and the Michael O'Neal Singers; music assistant at Columbia Presbyterian Church, Decatur; music director-organist at University Heights United Methodist Church, Decatur; and organist and handbell choir director at Stockbridge Presbyterian Church, Stockbridge, GA. Dorothy also teaches piano in her home.

Hi

Hope its ok to ask you....

The date question is "Do you know the date when Albert Pierce Clark's page got married?"

There is a new tool on WIkiTree and that found out that it was entered marriage date 0000-03-30 which looks like an error. The odd thing was that WikiTree didnt display the date... so we deleted it....

Was it ok to delet the date

See report

Hope this make sense...
