Note H12He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Mark Merlyn Clark in 2002; a brother-in-law, Warner Herrli; and a niece, Everly HerrliAge 74 of Monroe, died Monday, at the Monroe Clinic Hospital following a long illness. Merlyn was born in Clarno Township, the son of Frank E. and Neva (Drake) Clark. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1957 and farmed on the home farm in Clarno Township until 2000. He married on June 9, 1973 in Monroe. Merlyn was a long time member of the Clarno Zion United Methodist Church. He was an avid arrowhead and morel mushroom hunter and bowled on numerous teams for 55 years. He also enjoyed reading western paperbacks and was a big Green Bay Packer fan. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Mark Merlyn Clark in 2002; a brother-in-law, Warner Herrli; and a niece, Everly Herrli. 1
