Biography

  • George was the son of George Clark and Mary Matilda McKenzie. He served in World War I as a Driver, Serial No. 5054 with 3rd AMTC.
  • After Kathleen's death George continued to farm "Coocooboonah" with this sons. His Death Notice states he died at his residence, 26 Wilga Street, Gunnedah, formerly of Woodstock, husband of late Kathleen Julia Clark, father of Heather (Mrs. Abraham of Glendale), Richard, John, Neville (of Cowra) and Jean (Mrs. Goodacre of Gunnedah), grandfather of Graham, Neil, Michael and Chris, brother of Charlie (of Epping). Aged 81.
