Clark-9363 and Clark-30872 do not represent the same person because: 9363 is SAMUEL Clark.......30872 is CAROLYN Clark.

Clark-9363 and Clark-30872 appear to represent the same person because: Samuel Clark (9/14/1766 in Morris Co., NJ--4/26/1836 in Hooversville, Somerset Co., PA) is my gr.gr.gr.gr.grandfather. The oldest of his 13 children is John Clark (3/25/1794--3/6/1874), my gr.gr.gr.grandfather. One of his 4 children is my gr.gr.grandfather John Allen Clark (5/11/1828--6/25/1915). [ John Allen Clark was the twin of Susan Clark (1828--1909), wife of David Hoover, son of Jonas Hoover, the founder of Hooversville, PA]. John Allen "Allen" Clark had 9 children to his first wife Sarah Ann Berkebile [Perkeypile], and 4 children to his second wife Rachel Berkebile [Perkeypile]. My great-grandfather, John J. Clark was the 7th of the children of John Allen and Sarah Ann Clark. John J. Clark (1/9/1872--9/3/1901) was the father of my grandfather Orbie Clark (5/21/1896--3/4/1969). My father, Orbie Clark, Jr. (10/11/1922--2/13/1983) was the 4th of the 5 children of Orbie Clark.

Hi, Carolyn!

I wanted to suggest that you edit your tag(s) to show any surnames you are researching. When you list a surname, location or historical event in your tags, you can then click them and see a list of other WikiTree genealogists who are also researching those names, locations, etc.

You'll also get notifications in your daily & weekly emails when there is activity relevant to your tags.

Information on Tags can be found at http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tags

Please let me know if you have any questions! :-)

Hi Carolyn,

Welcome to WikiTree! The email we just sent has helpful links to get you started.

WikiTree is different than other genealogy websites because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we share ancestors and work together as a BIG collaborative team!

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree?

When you confirm your email address, you’ll be given an opportunity to volunteer to help document our collective family history. Use the Tags and comments to tell us about your genealogical interests.

When you volunteer, one of our Greeters will confirm your membership. Then you'll be able to add your family to the tree!

We're really glad you're here!
