Biography

Robert and Annie Pepley grew strawberries on their farm, and Robert was also employed as a coal miner. Their farm was beside that of Jacob and Amanda (Custer) Shaffer's larger farm. Robert and Annie were members of Hooversville Christian Church. They are buried in P.O.S. of A. Cemetery near Hooversville, PA.
