Biography
James Clark was born in March 1871 in Tynemouth, Northumberland, England. His parents were Henry Lawson Clark and Jane Hudson.
His mother died when he was a boy.
For the 1881 England and Wales census, James is living with his widowed father and his father's mother (James' paternal grandmother).
He married Sarah Clements in 1896.
