Biography

Teresa married Hercules Ogle on June 4, 1803, Grainger county, Tennessee. They moved to Putnam county, Indiana about 1829 where Teresa is recorded as a land owner. She received dower in the will of Edward Clark whose wife is listed as Fanny Clark in Grainger county, Tennessee in 1828. Hercules died in Putnam county, Indiana, after which Teresa moved to Putnam county, Missouri, with her daughter and son-in-law (Lewis Adam Ellis and Mary Ann Ogle Ellis).

Teresa was born in North Carolina in 1786 to Edward and Fanny Clark. She married Hercules Ogle on June 4, 1803 in Grainger County, Tennessee. It is believed they were the parents of twelve children. They moved to Indiana where her husband passed away. After his death, she moved to Missouri where she passed away in 1861. She is buried at Wyreka Cemetery in Putnam County, Missouri.
