Biography

Charity Clark was born 14 Jun 1835 to Amasa F. Clark and Roxalana Carpenter[1] in Rutland County, Vermont and came to Michigan with her parents at age 15.[2]

In 1859 she married Peter Churchill in Romeo, Michigan.[2][3]

They had eight children:

She passed away at home in Novesta on Friday 3 Mar 1916 after suffering a stroke the preceding Wednesday. She is buried in Novesta Cemetery.[2][9]
