Biography

John was born 1814. He married No. Stonington, Conn., Nov. 19, 1862, Hannah E. Main . John was left an orphan early in life and was brought up by his maternal grandfather, John Burdick of No. Stonington. He was proprietor of the saw and grist mills at Clark's Falls, Conn., for thirty-seven years, retiring from active service about 1875. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church. Mrs. Clark is somewhat enfeebled in health, but is of excellent memory and good reputation. Res., Clark's Falls, Conn. He passed away 17 Aug 1895.
