Solomon was born in 1819. He was the son of John Clark and Polly Wilson Clark; he married Virginia A. Dillard 8/5/1851 at Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was with the Eclectic Literary Society of Little Rock; an attorney and judge; director, Memphis & Little Rock Railway and Little Rock & Ft. Smith Railway. He passed away in 1889.
