Sharon Rose (Clark) DeMita, 55, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at her residence. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Charles and Barbara Rose (Trembley) Clark.

Sharon was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY. She attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On August 17, 1991 she married Richard DeMita at United Methodist Church in Niagara Falls, NY. She was a self employed health care aide and worked in the Niagara Falls area. In her leisure time she enjoyed going to the Casino, reading and gardening. She also liked cooking and hosting parties and picnics at her home. Above all, Sharon loved spending time with her three grandsons.

In addition to her husband of twenty one years, Sharon is survived by one daughter Carly (Leonard) Lapp of Niagara Falls, NY; three grandchildren Christopher, Cameron and Fallon Lapp; one sister, Dawn (Gary) Corsaro of Niagara Falls, NY; one brother, Kenneth (Lynn) Clark of Niagara Falls, NY; her mother-in-law Gloria (late Gaetano)DeMita-Zulke of Lewiston, NY; two sisters-in-law, Carol (Paul Swartz) Stankovich of Niagara Falls, NY and Debra (Craig) Simpson of Lewiston, NY; one aunt Joyce (late Joseph) Clark-Novak of Youngstown, NY and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY. Funeral services will be held on Monday February 4th at 11 a.m. with Rev. Robert Stolinski at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 500 Riverdale Avenue, Lewiston, NY. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Autism Services, Inc., 4444 Bryant Stratton Way, Williamsville, NY 14221.
