Mrs. Calvin Goodale suddenly passed away on Saturday, July 28th, after a brief illness of only a few days, at her home north east of Irma.

Mrs. Goodale came to this district a number of years ago with her husband and family from Hamilton, Ontario. She was 56 years of age at the time of her death and the mother of five children: Ellsworth, Doris (Mrs. N. Figganshau), Earle and Ervin, all residing here, and Olive (Mrs. Frank McLaughlin), residing in Calgary.

The funeral service was held in the United church on Sunday, July 29th, at 2 p.m., Rev. J.R. Geeson officiating.
