Sallie Clark was the daughter of Isaac Clark and Elizabeth McCullum. She was born in the portion of Dearborn County, Indiana that would later become Ohio County. She married to William Stopher in 1835. Sarah passed about 1877 with four of her children surviving in 1885, viz: Mathias, Elizabeth Gibson, Mary J. Hastings, and Stephen.
