It also lists another Joseph Clark in addition to the son of Elias: "36. Joseph Clark has a log house and about 7 or 8 acres of cleared land, which he holds by virtue of a lease from Capt. Spry for 200 acres." and Moses, who might be one of the brothers mentioned, below: "15. Moses Clark has a wife and 4 children, came from Yarmouth about 7 years past, but has been on the land he now possesses but about one year. Has a framed house and about 20 acres of cleared land. Says he came on in consequence of an agreement with Mr. Pearly who promised to procure him a deed from Col. Glazier."

Clark-39096 and Clark-36240 appear to represent the same person because: same first name, last name, parents, spouse, son Joseph,

Now it looks like the children have duplicates. That will have to go on a to do list for me if no one beats me too it.

Note that Joseph 1769 here is NOT Joseph 1768 (Clark-46245). It is also unclear which Joseph is #36 in Studholme.

Note also that two unrelated Joseph Clarks left Sudbury Parish in the 1780's and show on the 1800 Census of Condaskeeg Plantation with the notation 'from St John' (River). One was b. before 1755 based on age in the census and the other after. The elder was with Eddy in the attack at Ft. Cumberland and appears NOT to be among the Connecticut Clarks of Elias and Moses, although their father, Joseph is about the right age.
