Biography
Asa Clark, Jr., son of Asa and Rhoda Clark, was born in Burlington, Connecticut, on 4 February 1795. [1]
His father's will, written on 14 March 1822, named "my son Asa Clark Jr." as heir to "the whole of my real estate and all of my personal estate ... except for one bed and bedding ... which I give to my daughter Elmina" and nominated him as one of the executors for the estate. He carried out the role of executor when the estate went through probate, beginning in 1825.[2]
