Residence 1786 Belfast, Waldo, Maine, United States. [1]

Ichabod was born about 1755 in Epping, New Hampshire. He was the son of Abraham III and Sarah (Mudget) Clark.

Ichabod married Mary Polly Wiggin. They had the following six children all born in Belfast, Hancock (now Waldo) County, Province (now State) of Maine: Jacob, Abraham, Joseph, Nancy, Sally, and John.

Ichabod was the 1st tailor in the town of Belfast and had a shop downtown, though he lived on the east side of town.

In Belfast's 1790 Fed. Census, Icabod's household included 1 male over 16, 1 male under 16, and 2 females.

Per Belfast's 1800 Fed. Census, Icabod's household of 8 included 3 males under 10, 1 male 10-15, 1 male 26-44, 2 females under 10, and 1 female 16-25.

In the 1810 Fed. Census for Northport, Hancock (now Waldo) Co., Province (now State) of Maine, Icabod's household included 10 members: 3 males under 10, 1 male 10-15, 1 male 16-25, 1 male over 45, 1 female under 10, 1 female 16-25, and 1 female 26-44.

Per the 1820 Fed. Census for Northport, Ichabod's household of six included 1 male 10-15, 1 male 26-44, 1 male 45 and up, 1 female under 10, 1 female 16-25, 1 female 45 and up.

He later moved to Northport where he passed away sometime between 1820 and 1830. A male of his age does not appear in Northport's 1830 Fed. Census. Ichabod's widow, however, may be a member of their son John's household, since a female of her age (60-69) is enumerated therein in the 1830 Fed. Census and she is named "Mary Clark" in the 1850 Fed. Census as a member (age 79) of son John's household.
