Obituary for Mrs. Bessie C. Shaffer. Dominion News. Morgantown, WV Sat., June 3, 1972. Excerpt -- Mrs. Bessie C. Shaffer, 87, of Pontiac, Mich., formerly of Kingwood, died Friday at Pontiac Hospital. She was born Nov. 20, 1884, at Miller, Ohio, a daughter of the late Peter and Delilah Crawford Clark. Survivors include her husband, Frank T. Shaffer; one son, John C. Shaffer of Rowlesburg; one daughter, Mrs. Roy E. Knight of Pontiac, Mich; one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. Burial will be in the Maplewood Cemetery. --provided by #46963989
