Biography

Hannah Clark is the first wife of John Barney, who is the son of Joseph Barney and Constance Davis of Rehoboth, MA.

According to Vital Records of Rehoboth, page 422, the marriage between John Barney of Rehoboth and Hannah Clark of Swanzey, 3/8/1728-9, did not take place in Rehoboth; therefore, the citation was put into a special "Intentions" section of the document.

According to the VR of Rehoboth, page 794, John's wife Hannah died on 8/31/1746.
