The Virginia Genealogical Society Quarterly Vol 22, Number 3, pages 23-24 tell the Francis Clark story. Francis Clark (1679-1789) married Cordelia Lankford (1682-1789) and had a daughter Elizabeth, who married John Haley. She went by Agnes.
