In this case the Sterfkennis - Death notice for Sarah Houy nee Clark, wife of Isadore Henry Houy who seems to be the first Houy in South Africa. I set out to try and find a Family History for my wife – Karen Antoinette Houy. I have not managed to find a Source to link her Grandfather John Andrew Houy born in about 1910 to any other family. If you are a Houy, or are researching into Houy’s please will you contact myself (Richard Stephens). I am really keen to try and piece this puzzle together. Unfortunately the surname Houy is often written incorrectly or transcribed wrongly. I have seen Houy, Hoey, Hony and Honey all being used. I have spent 2 months combing all the records online which I can find and I am now begging for help. “
