Elizabeth Clark was the third youngest child in the large Clark Family. She was born in the state of Virginia. but moved to Louisville, Kentucky with the rest of the family as a child.
In 1787 when Elizabeth was 24 years old, she married Colonel Richard Clough Anderson who was also from Virginia and had settled in Kentucky after the Revolutionary war was over.
How can Find a Grave say this Elizabeth Clark Anderson who died in January 1795 - gave birth to her third child in December 1795? Either this last child was born in January 1795 before the mother died, or the third child was born in December 1794.
There is a source on Family search that says the Elizabeth Clark Anderson died in January 1796, not 1795 - and still allows the third child to be born in December 1795. I have adjusted the DOD for Elizabeth to show this new date of death.
Marriage Record - "Kentucky Marriages, 1785-1979," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F43V-X93 : 11 February 2018), Richard Clough Anderson and Elizabeth Clark, 14 Aug 1787; citing Jefferson, Virginia, reference ; FHL microfilm 817,859.
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Elizabeth by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with Elizabeth:
