Biography

Elizabeth was born in 1773. She passed away about 1838. Her headstone gives dob as 27 August Find A Grave: Memorial #34116094 but birth record (see image) gives 26 August.

Elizabeth and Benjamin are likely siblings and they married Mayhew siblings in Bangor/Levant, Maine in the 1790's. Ichabod and Thankful married Lancaster siblings, again lending credence to them being siblings. Aaron, Joseph, and Ichabod are noted in the 1800 census as being 'from St John', meaning Maugerville and the surrounding settlements.

It has yet to be proven that Benjamin & Elizabeth are siblings to the others and there is no record that Benjamin was in Maugerville. Benjamin is said to be born in Georgetown, ME but I have no primary source. Elizabeth is stated by the original profile creator to be born in Freeport. These things may not be knowable with the many lost records.

Elizabeth moved to Ohio, as did many other of Rev. Seth Noble's flock.
