Sally (Clarke) Abbott was born in Hampshire, England.
Sarah was baptised in 1791 in St Helen's, Isle of Wight, England. She was the daughter of William Clarke and Mary.[1][2]
Sarah married Jacob Abbott in St Helier, Jersey, on 11 April 1810.[3] They had eight children between 1817 and 1834 – the first baptised in Jacob's home parish of Little Addington and the rest in Finedon, Northamptonshire, where the family lived in 1841. Jacob was an agricultural labourer.[4] He was a "labourer pauper" by 1851.[5]
Jacob and Sally lived on Meeting Lane in 1861.[6] She died later that year[7] and was buried in Finedon.[8]
