Biography

Sarah was baptised in St John the Baptist Church, Piddington, Northamptonshire on 2 Dec 1821. Her parents were Joseph and Ann Clark (sic) and Joseph is described as a farmer^[1].

In 1851 she was living in Harlestone, Northamptonshire, with her husband and children James Clarke (aged 5), Ann El (aged 1) ^[2]

In 1861 she was living in Harlestone, Northamptonshire, with her husband and children James Clarke (aged 15), Ann Elizh (aged 11), Jonathan (aged 8), and Sarah (aged 3), all born in Harlestone^[3]

In 1871 the family, including Sarah aged 13, Mary A aged 11 and Betsey^[4].

Sarah died in the September quarter, 1873
