Biography

Since William L. Clarke's son (Elisha J. Clarke) was born in 1840, and we know that most people don't marry or have children before age 15, then 1840-15= 1825. Both parents of Elisha J. Clarke (William L. Clarke and Mary Connors) would have been born before 1825.

The Death Cert for Elisha J. Clarke states that William L. Clarke was born in Hampstead, Queens Co, NB, and that Mary Connors was born at Greenwich, Kings Co, NB.

William was born in 1804. He was the son of Elisha Clark and Catherine Slipp. He passed away in 1892.
