Biography
Godfrey Clarke was son of Gilbert Clarke [1] of Watford in Northamptonshire. [2]
He married Elizabeth Milward, daughter of Thomas Milward of Eaton Dovedale in Derbyshire,[3] who was mother of his son, Gilbert, born about 1645.[1]
His second wife, also Elizabeth, bore him a son Nicholas who died before the visitation in 1662.[1]
Godfrey passed away in 1670. [2]
