Biography

John Clarke (1833-1835) was baptised on 12 January 1834 at Lyncombe and Widcombe in Bath, the family described as of Paradise Row. He was the son of Howell Clarke and Mary Edmonds.

John was buried on 25 June 1835 at the Ebenezer Wesleyan Chapel, Widcombe, Bath, of 3 Dills Court, age 2 1/4.[1] This was a paupers grave and John was buried with several other very young children who passed away around the same time. These included John Morris who was 12 days old, Eliza Laskey who was 3 months old, and Jesse Fracknell who was 6 months old.[2]
