Bethiah (Clarke) Hiscox was born on 11 Apr 1678 in Westerly, Washington County, RI, daughter of Joseph Clarke II and Bethiah (Hubbard) Clarke. [1]

Bethiah married Thomas Hiscox (1686 - 1773) on 31 Oct 1703 in Westerly[2]. Their children were [1]:

I come an Being of Sound Mind & Memory For an Aged man praised be God for it & Considering ye uncertainty of this Life Doe Make & ordain This my Last Will & Testament in manner following yt is to Say 1st & principally I Commit my Soul in to the hands of Almighty God hoping for Pardon Remission of all my Sins & In joy Eternal Life through ye alone Merits Death & pafsion of my Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ & my Body I Commit to the Earth to be Decently Buried att the Discrefsion of my Executor hereafter Mentioned & as Touching Such Temporal Estate it hath pleased God to Endow me with I Dispose thereof in manner following:
