Ethel was born around 1894, as daughter of Harry and Harriet. [1]
She married Australian soldier Harold Small at St Paul's Church of England in Luton, Bedfordshire, on August 2nd, 1919. They were wedded by T. Butman Vicar.
On their marriage record held by the National Archives of Australia, her father Harry was described as being a deceased manufacturer.
Ethel went with Harold back to Australia at the closing of the First World War. They travelled on the Zealandic ship.
She died late of Arncliffe on August 5th, 1961. Ethel was cremated and is now at the Woronora Memorial Park.
