Biography
Birth
Adelaide was born in about 1840 in Pershore, Worcestershire. The daughter of William and Elizabeth Clarke.
Pershore may also at some time have been in Gloucestershire.
In 1851 Adelaide was with parents and two siblings in West Bromwich.[1] Adelaide's age given as 13 and born in Pershore.
Marriage
Adelaide Clarke married Jesse Pennington on 25 May 1857 in St James church in Handsworth.[2] Witnesses were Philip and Martha Pennington.
Adelaide remarried in 1878 to James South.
Death
Adelaide South died in 1912.[3]
