Richard Beard's daughter Rachel married Neal Clarke, who patented 300 acres on the South side of the Severn. He died in 1678, and Rachel married four more times. Their daughter Rachel Clarke married Thomas Robinson, who had arrived in Anne Arundel with his brother George; they were neighbors of Beard and Neal Clarke on the South River.
Neale Clarke may have been born about 1640 in England, based on his wife's birth of 1646. He married Rachel Beard before 1665.  Neale died in 1676. Will proved 3 Jul 1678 in Anne Arundel Co, MD
