Mary Clarke may be the name of Henry Farmer's first wife. She is believed to have been born in 1666,[1] married Henry about 1686 and passed away about 1696, before Henry married his second wife.
This RootsWeb link argues that the children are from his second marriage to Hester Bass.[2]
But others show the children born before the date he married Hester Bass (1696)[3]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
The farmerfamily.org website no longer exists. Note for you Farmers - it is for sale! Anyway, at farmershistory.tribalpages.com they show Mary Clarke as a wife of Henry, and mother of some of the children, but the dates of birth don't always correspond with time-frames their alleged mothers were married or alive! So, there is a serious need for more solid sources!
Can you provide sources for this person, please? Everything at the farmerfamily.org site, does not have anything about this woman marrying either Henry Farmer, nor being the mother of Henry Farmer.
