I was born at the Dyess AFB Hospital in Abilene, TX. I was raised in Colorado Springs, CO. I attended the University of Louisville (KY) from 1990-91. I attended Towson State University while living in Baltimore, MD in 1995-96. I attended Brooklyn College from 1997-99. I called New York City home from 1996-2007, 2008-2010, 2011-2014, and 2015-2016. While there, I also attended Gotham Writer's Workshop (Fall 1996), Holy Apostles Food For The Soul Writers' Workshop (work featured in 2015 and 2016 Workshop Anthologies), and Maximum Focus Security Training School (Nov-Dec 2011). I was dislocated from my Rockaway Park (Queens, NYC) home due to Hurricane Sandy in 2012-13. My paid work experiences are mainly in the warehouse, security, and delivery fields. I also have (unpaid) experience in fiction, nonfiction, poetry, songwriting, genealogical research, blogging, and EDM production. I have some acting experience from a nonprofit theatrical production called "Am I Invisible" in Austin, TX, from April-May 2014. Currently deciphering results from my Ancestry DNA test (A235281) and my Y-DNA test. I am currently involved in electronic music production and composition, as well as songwriting and creative writing.

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Let me know. I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders. Thanks, Abby
