Lenoir News Topic, Tuesday, March 31, 1942. Mrs. Fred Coffey Named President of Whitnel P.T.A. Mrs. Fred Coffey was elected president of the Whitnel Parent-Teacher association at the monthly meeting of the group at Whitnel school Thursday night. Other officers elected were Mrs. George Everhardt, vice-president; Miss Pearl Keller, secretary; and Mrs. Russell McGalliard, treasurer.
