Biography

Malinda Clay was born in 1844 to John W. and Ellen (Heeter) Clay in Seneca County, Ohio and lived there until she was married at the age of 16.^[1][2] Malinda married Andrew Jackson Mittower, who was 12 years her senior, on 24 December 1860.^[3][4][5]

Malinda and Andrew lived in Reed Township until Andrew passed in 1915.^[13] After that, Malinda lived with her daughter in Tiffin, Ohio.^[14] Malinda died on 30 November 1923 in Tiffin, Seneca County, Ohio^[15]
