Biography

James was born about 1802. He is the son of Jordan Clay and Mary Cartier. He passed away about 1880.

1859 Nov Marriage of John clay and Nancy Eplin. He was 22 single and born around 1837. JBorn in Lawrence KY. Father: James Clay. Mother: Melinda Clay. Nancy was 20 single and born 1839 in Cabell, VA. Her father: Henry Eplin. Her mother: Jane Eplin. [3]
