Biography

David was a Friend (Quaker)

David (last name spelt Cleaton in the birth record of Swarthmoor Quaker Monthly Meeting) was born 12 Jun 1661 at Gleaston, Lancashire.[1][2] There are several Quaker birth records for him: one names his mother as Margaret.[3]

David married Amy or Ann Cooke by 1689 at Newport, Rhode Island.[4]

David is said to have died in 1730.[4]
