John Claydon was born 5 March 1791. He was the son of Thomas Clayden and Mary unknown. John was baptised on 10th April 1791, at Saint Mary and Saint Clement, in Clavering, Essex, England. [1]
John Claydon of Clavering married Maria Woodcock of the same in Clavering in 1815 [2][3]
In 1841 John was a 50 year old agricultural labourer living at Starlings Green, Clavering with his wife Maria and 4 children; George 20; William 15; Sarah 12; Emma
8.[4].
In 1851 he was recorded as being 62 years old, still working as an agricultural labourer and living at the same address. Only wife Maria and son William were then recorded in the same household [5].
John Clayden died 27 September 1852 in Clavering, Essex [6] and was buried at Clavering on the 2nd October [7]
