Biography

Lydia was born on 11 June 1769 in Clavering, Uttlesford District, Essex, England. She was the daughter of John Clayton and Sarah (Chipperfield) Clayton.[1]

Lydia was baptised on 11 June 1769 in Essex, England.[2]

When Lydia was 23 she married William Chipperfield on 6 January 1793 in Clavering, St Mary and St Clement, Essex, England. The couple had 3 children: Joseph Chipperfield, Thomas Chipperfield and Sarah Chipperfield.[3]

Lydia died at the age of 70 on 26 October 1839 in Clavering, Uttlesford District, Essex, England.[1]
