Thomas was born in 1826. He was the son of Thomas Cleare and Harriet Horsley.
He married Eliza Briggs in 1848 in Shoreditch, Middlesex, England[1]
He was living with his wife Eliza and children at Ashby Street Upper, Clerkenwell, Middlesex, England and he was working as a goldsmith cutter in 1851[2]
He was widowed in 1852 and he married a second time in 1854 in East London, London, England to Emma Hookway[3]
He was living with his wife Emma and daughter Harriet at Linton Street East, Islington, Middlesex, England and he was working as a gold cutter in 1861[4]
He was living with his wife Emma and children at Morning Lane, Hackney, Middlesex, England and he was working as a goldcutter in 1881[5]
He was living with his wife Emma in Hackney, Middlesex, England and he was a gold and silver polisher in 1891[6]
He was living with his wife Emma, daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren in Hackney, Middlesex, England and he was working as a silver polisher in 1901[7]
