As part of the Peter Robinson Expedition, William embarked with his family at Cove, County Cork, Ireland, on board the 'Resolution' ship, with Anthony Ward Master, for passage to Quebec on 5 May 1825. Records indicate their origin in County Cork was Doneraile, which is where Timothy may have been born.^[1][2][3][4]
