Biography

George was born in 1861.

Following the death of Elizabeth, he married Sarah McCann, daughter of Edward McCann and Catherine Murray aged 49. George was a widower, aged 61, and employed as a sawyer. He had been born in Kyneton, Victoria to parents James Cleary, a commission agent, and Lucy Perry. George and Sarah married on 13 Feb 1922 at St Pauls Church Sydney. ^[1]

He passed away on 27 Aug 1951. His death notice mentions his sons Henry, Charles, Harold, Ronald and Walter. ^[2]
