Police say 42, 5ft 9in or 10in, stout build, dark hair & complexion, dark moustache & side levers, scar under chin, blue eyes, carpenter, an Irishman. Blue serge suit, black hard hat, ES boots. Gone to Wyalong. 25 Jul 1894. Clifton, New South Wales, Australia. [7] Apprehended by police and being returned to Clifton. 29 Aug 1894. Wyalong, New South Wales, Australia.

Faces magistrates court over desertion, and ordered to pay maintenance of 7 shillings & 6 pence per week for 12 months, plus costs. 5 Sep 1894. Bulli, New South Wales, Australia. [8][9] Bulli magistrates raise warrant to find him, last heard of in Paddington. He must have abandoned Lily and James again. 42, 5ft 9 or 10in, medium build, dark hair & complexion, slightly bald, dark moustache & side levers, scar under chin, blue eyes. 6 Mar 1895.
